Pentagons #1While not as popular as the hexagon in pattern-making. the pentagon holds a special appeal to me because of its inherent Golden Section proportions. The pentagon also contains the special 72° angle - and multiples of nine - that I used as a single design element in several works and which is a major factor in the creation of quasi-periodic crystals. |
